Terms and conditions

These terms and conditions apply to the use of and orders placed on the www.hannahknapton.com website and telephone orders placed with Hannah Knapton. By placing an order with Hannah Knapton you will be deemed to have read, understood and agreed to these terms and conditions.


Every care has been taken to ensure that descriptions, measurements, colours and prices are correct. We reserve the right to amend prices at any time. As cushions are made by hand there may be a fractional variation in size. Please note that there may be some variation in the colour of goods shown on the website due to the limitations of photographic and web processes and we cannot be held responsible for any variations in colour that may arise caused by your browser or computer software. As some cushions are hand dyed each cushion will vary slightly in colour, if you are ordering multiple items and require a colour match please get in touch with us before you order so we can ensure that we have stock to match your requirement. 

Orders and Payment

Orders can be processed directly though this website. Hannah Knapton processes card payments securely via a third party payment system called stripe. All transactions are processed using a secure server. Hannah Knapton does not hold any customer card details and we will never pass your details on to anyone.

We also accept payment by cheque made payable to Hannah Knapton. Please phone us to let us know you will be paying by cheque so we know to expect it. Goods will be despatched once the cheque has cleared. Please send the cheque with your postal address and a note of what you would like to order to ‘Hannah Knapton, Low Penhowe, Burythorpe, York. YO17 9LU’.


All effort is made to ensure that the website shows when a product is out of stock, however sometimes there may be an error. If this is the case we will let you know as soon as possible and notify you of when the product will be available again and offer a refund if necessary.


Hannah Knapton will have no liability to you for any failure to deliver goods you have ordered or any delay in doing so or for any damage or defect to goods delivered that is caused by any event or circumstance beyond our reasonable control including, breakdown of systems, flood, fire, explosion or accident.

Delivery and Returns

Hannah Knapton uses a variety of delivery companies to deliver customer goods, these companies deliver within the normal working hours of 9am – 5pm, Monday to Friday. It is the customers responsibility to ensure the goods can be received within these timescales. 

Hannah Knapton is happy to exchange or refund any unwanted or faulty full priced items returned to us in original condition and packaging, unused and with tags attached within 14 days. Please email or phone us before sending any goods back so we know to expect it. Return postage is the responsibility of the customer. We strongly recommend you return any items via recordable post as we can not be held responsible for any return items that go missing. Cut fabric orders are non-returnable unless faulty.
